The Hunger (1983) is a stylish, erotic horror film directed by Tony Scott, focusing on a love triangle between ancient vampire Miriam (Catherine Deneuve), her rapidly aging lover John (David Bowie), and a gerontologist, Sarah (Susan Sarandon). Miriam feeds on blood to maintain her immortality, but her companions eventually wither into conscious, attic-bound corpses. After 200 years, John begins to age rapidly, leading him to seek help from Sarah, who becomes drawn into Miriam’s world.
